Garick serves as a Consultant on Quality Assurance and Technological Innovation. In this role, he works on product quality standards (particularly with Lighting Global and the IEC), e-waste and recyclability issues, and GOGLA’s technology working group.
Prior to joining GOGLA, Garick spent a decade developing, implementing and managing renewable energy and energy access projects and programs in Asia, Australia, the United States, and Africa. This includes roles with the Efficiency for Access Coalition, Lighting Global, Sunlabob Renewable Energy, and on an Australian Red Cross programme.
Garick holds a Master's degree in Renewable Energy from Murdoch University, and Bachelor's degrees in Engineering and Commerce from the University of Western Australia.
