AECF, REACT Kenya Relief Fund for energy access companies

AECF launches relief fund to sustain energy access to vulnerable households in Kenya during Covid-19

AECF, with support from Sweden, has launched their fast track REACT Kenya Relief Fund for energy access companies reaching low income households with clean and affordable technologies such as off-grid solar home systems, improved cookstoves and clean fuels. Companies must be registered and operating in Kenya with a turnover of more than USD250,000. Support will be provided through disbursements of emergency grants (USD50,000 –USD200,000) to cover short-term working capital needs (3-12 months) and technical assistance for business continuity.
