African Guarantee Fund (AGF)

The African Guarantee Fund is a non-bank financial institution in Africa. It specialises in providing loan guarantees and other guarantee products to African financial institutions (commercial banks, leasing companies, micro-finance institutions, and others). It is owned by the Government of Denmark through the Danish International Development Agency (Danida) and the Government of Spain through the Spanish Agency for International Development Co-operation (aecid) and the African Development Bank (AfDB).
