Efficiency for Access R&D Fund, up to £2 M in funding available

The Efficiency for Access Coalition is pleased to announce the third round of the Efficiency for Access Research and Development (R&D) Fund, with up to £2 million in funding made available. This funding is supported by a range of donors, including UK aid and the IKEA Foundation. Applications are open to R&D projects developing enabling technologies for off- and weak-grid areas with a particular focus on inclusivity and interoperability.  Between £50,000 and £300,000 of funding is available for each project. Application deadline: 15 March 2020

The Efficiency for Access Research and Development Fund was launched in November 2018 with the aim to accelerate innovation in weak- and off-grid appliance technologies,  supporting 21 organizations with over £2.5 million in funding.
