GDC Innovation Challenge: How might we build resilience in last mile distribution?

Calling all innovators! The Global Distributors Collective (GDC)’s second Innovation Challenge is now live. This is a chance for last mile distributors to pilot innovative ideas to improve their impact, while also sharing learnings and insights with the wider sector.

If you are a GDC member with an innovative idea you would like to bring to life, the GDC wants to hear from you! This year applications are also welcomed from partner businesses; i.e. organizations such as service providers, manufacturers, and software companies that are co-applying with one or more GDC members. Successful ideas will be replicable by others, and must ultimately help to build resilience in last-mile distribution. The winners will be voted for by the GDC membership and will receive up to £50,000 to launch a pilot, as well as expert technical assistance to support implementation.

The deadline for the first round application is 13th July 2020. Find out more about eligibility and the application process here or contact for more information. This project is funded with UK aid from the British people.
