African Sun Energy is based in Botswana, Malawi, and Zambia, with its Headquarters in Gaborone, Botswana.

Our youth solar apprenticeship program, for example, equips young talents with valuable skills in solar technology installation and maintenance, contributing to job creation and economic development in the regions we operate.

We work with reputable suppliers and use high-quality components to ensure the longevity and performance of the solar power systems we install. We also established a employee led O&M company Solar Assist to maintain our installed systems. 

Partnerships and Collaboration: We collaborate with local and international partners, including government agencies, and educational institutions, to develop new appropriate technologies and fintech products to support and promote renewable energy adoption, knowledge sharing, and capacity building.
