AISER is the Interprofessional Association of Renewable Energy Specialists in Benin. It is a non-profit association created in October 2011 and whose main objective is to contribute significantly to the development of renewable energies in Benin. The members of the association are companies (67, June 2019) located in Benin and operating in the renewable energies sector. They are in the engineering of energy systems (conventional energy, new and renewable energies, and energy efficiency), studies related to renewable energies and energy efficiency.

Specifically, the AISER works to:

  • Promote renewable energies and their large-scale uses.
  • Support and participate in the design of national policies and strategies that aim to promote renewable energies
  • Promote capacity building of national players and experts in the renewable energy sector.
  • Provide members with the support services necessary for the success of their professional activities.
  • Promote the development of national, sub-regional and international technical cooperation.

AISER is headquartered in Cotonou, Benin.
