In recent times, starting with the evaluation of the acquisition of a solar lighting company, the focus has turned to the access to finance as being one of the greatest barriers to this sector growing more rapidly.
Our interest is in the efficient financing of solar products. Our view is that one of the biggest challenges facing the solar sector at the moment is access to efficient, affordable financing.
After almost a year of research and evaluation we have set ourselves a 12 month time horizon to establish an effective finance initiative. This will involve the engagement and support of a broad number of participants currently involved in supporting the sector.
