As part of the Alternatives platform, the business has the ability to generate viable financial returns and real social and environmental outcomes of its investments and is organized around three components: financial inclusion/microfinance; social enterprise financing (agriculture, health, and energy); and energy efficiency/renewable energy investing. The team’s capabilities are focused on creating investable products for development banks, governments, institutional and, potentially, private investors who share common investment objectives around specific themes.
