GreenMax is launching the Green4Access First Loss Facility (G4A) which provides risk mitigation support to lenders to facilitate scale-up of their financing energy access. G4A’s local FI partners in Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Malawi offer direct consumer lending to households, farms, MSMEs, and health clinics to purchase off-grid solar devices. G4A also supports working capital loans from our partner Charm Impact, to participating off-grid solar companies.

GreenMax also co-manages the Clean Energy and Energy Inclusion Foundation for Africa (CEI Africa) with Triple Jump and Persistent Energy. CEI Africa provides RBF grants and concessional finance to the off-grid energy space in collaboration with crowd lenders.
