Impact Pumps partners with distributors to help farmers reduce their irrigation costs by 50%. With extended dry seasons and soaring fuel prices making petrol pump irrigation increasingly unaffordable, our high-performance PAYG (Pay-As-You-Go) solar surface pumps offer a sustainable alternative, delivering the same water volumes at half the daily cost.
The PAYG SolarPlex, designed by Impact Pumps, features an integrated controller that tracks carbon credits and includes secure PAYG firmware that cannot be bypassed. Affordable PAYG financing allows farmers to pay in instalments that are less than half of their previous monthly fuel expenses. Additionally, the PAYG SolarPlex offers a power range of 100 to 800W and can be easily upgraded over time by adding more panels. This allows users to increase their daily water supply as their needs grow, all in a cost-effective manner.
Impact Pumps’ vision is to create a world where everyone has sustainable access to a high-quality supply of water

The PAYG SolarPlex has been designed to provide superior pressure and performance over competing petrol pumps, delivering the same water volumes at half the daily cost.
For water depths beyond 5m, customers can add-on our SolarPlex-Extend, a revolutionary new technology developed in Oxford, UK, that enables surface pumps to reach depths of up to 50m. With exceptional efficiency across variable power levels and depths, as well as silt, salt and dry-run tolerance, the SolarPlex-Extend is the perfect all-round solution for small-farm irrigation and domestic applications alike.
Our PAYG SolarPlex, sold with affordable PAYG finance, enables customers to take home 1kW of PV panels and the pump with a deposit lower than the cost of a new petrol pump. Subsequent payments are made in affordable instalments that are 50% lower than any previous irrigation fuel costs and easily covered by improved harvest income. Once the financing period ends, the SolarPlex and 1kW of PV panels operate fuel-free for years, protecting customers from fuel price inflation and extended dry seasons
