The GOGLA Off-grid solar energy policy and regulations repository is a hub for laws, policies, and regulations relevant to the off-grid solar energy industry. This repository is a knowledge base supporting off-grid electrification efforts. The repository reviews laws, policies, and regulations under the following themes:

1. Laws and regulations (such as energy acts).
2. Sector planning (national energy plans, rural electrification strategies, and national renewable energy plans).
3. Fiscal policy (VAT and finance acts).
4. Consumer protection acts and regulations.
5. Data protection policy.
6. Product standards.

This repository collects information on more than 70 energy laws, policies, and regulations in five countries in East Africa. GOGLA plans to further expand the repository to cover more regions in Africa and South Asia.
