The Tony Elumelu Foundation is an African-based, African-funded philanthropic organisation. Founded in 2010, their mission is to support entrepreneurship in Africa by enhancing the competitiveness of the African private sector. The vision is to establish the pre-eminent pan-African entrepreneurship Program and create 10,000 startups across Africa within the next 10 years that generate significant employment and wealth. The Program is open to young compelling businesses with strong market feasibility, clear financial models and run by capable teams.
