2020 started on a high for GOGLA and the off-grid solar industry with another fantastic edition of our Global Off-Grid Solar Forum and Expo in Nairobi. The event saw participation from more than 1,250 industry leaders, government representatives, investors, donors, policymakers, and industry associates. Revisiting the city where GOGLA was born, we were able to reflect on how much the sector had matured and strengthened over the last decade.
The beginning of 2020 feels like a long time ago now! The world changed drastically just a few weeks after we left the Forum’s grounds with the COVID-19 pandemic gripping the globe and catalysing deep health, welfare and economic shocks.
